Centinel demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt the lack of support for the Constitution among Pennsylvania's population. He enumerates examples. He has the goods and lays out the arithmetic. He points out the Federalists' use of false surveys.
Sadly, censorship and strong-arm tactics are depriving the population of facts about the new government.
Centinel signs off by proclaiming his pride in maintaining anonymity. Many attempts have been made to learn his true identity. He mentions Committees of Correspondence as a way of bypassing the Post Office. Despite smear tactics aimed at Centinel, he has no regrets about his work and hopes it will yield positive results.
A sad irony is that Anti-Federalists like Centinel - who are ignored today - had empathy toward their fellow citizens. The smooth-talking Founders worshipped today were but a mere shadow in comparison.
